Fergus Boake of FBA Building Projects was commissioned to renovate and add on to 2 old ramshackle buildings on Beyers Naude Drive – to be fit for purpose offices, that were not only functional, but aesthetically pleasant. He certainly delivered. In time, and on budget.

Throughout the process Fergus and his team were efficient, skilled and flexible. We were not an easy client by any measure – we changed design, finishes, and even decided we needed more space, so added a building, in the middle of the project. Fergus managed this with aplomb and patience, always concerned with costs, and advising us when we were going a bridge too far. He earned the praise of the civil engineer for the manner in which he repaired two sets of roof joists that were a total disaster.  He consulted us at all stages on various aspects of the build and expedited the approval processes professionally and speedily.  

He brought the project to completion on time (notwithstanding the trials and tribulations of municipal and fire department approvals) and within budget, catering to our many changes along the way.  We have been in our offices since October 2009 and have had few issues – and those which we have had, he has responded immediately, and willingly.  

We have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone undertaking either renovations, additions or new building from plans and would happily show anyone around our offices should they need to see an example of his craft.
